Ghosn says ‘I will’ to bill

CARLOS Ghosn has offered to pay back the Palace of Versailles the full cost of a lavish party he threw there in 2016 to celebrate his second wedding and new wife’s 50th birthday.

The former boss of Nissan and Renault, who is being held in Japan accused of financial misconduct, will repay the £44,000 paid by Renault to rent out a chateau on the grounds where they held a Marie Antoinette themed party.
