Siberians, biggest of the big cats
Siberian, or Amur, tigers are the largest cat in the world They get their name from Russia’s Amur River
Only 540 are left in the world after being driven to the brink of extinction by poachers
Natural habitat is in Far East Russia, northern China and parts of North Korea
Prey on deer, moose and small bears
Have killed humans – including a zookeeper at a German zoo in 2013
They can eat up to 60lb of meat in one go
They live alone and aggressively protect their territories
Females have litters of two to six cubs, which they raise alone
