Lost pensions

-

MoST pensioners don’t appreciate how lucky they are.

Those born before 1953 have been fortunate enough to receive their state pension at the age of 60 for women and 65 for men. along with this they have received free dental treatment and public transport.

Those born after 1953 have suffered a real financial loss. Women who have paid their full contributions have been swindled by the Government out of no less than £60,000 each as a result of the increase in the state pension age. These are funds people

have paid into the system, in just the same way as a private pension, and to which they should be fully entitled. Mrs JULIA GLASS,

Salisbury, Wilts.
