KLOPP CHARGED FOR WEST HAM REF COMMENTS

JURGEN KLOPP has been charged by the FA over comments he made about referee Kevin Friend after Liverpool’s 1-1 draw at West Ham. In an interview with Sky Sports after the game, Klopp criticised Friend’s ‘strange decisions’ after his linesman had failed to spot that James Milner was offside in the build-up to Sadio Mane’s goal. Klopp (right), who argued with Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini, said: ‘The referee knew for sure at half-time and then you saw a lot of strange decisions.’ The FA said last night they believe Klopp questioned the referee’s integrity. He has until 6pm next Monday to submit his plea.
