FRANCES MORRIS,

-

director of the tate Modern, lives in a handsome terrace house in South London. her family’s privacy is protected by venetian blinds and a leafy tree, while other windows on the four-storey property have thick blinds. Very nice for Ms Morris and her family. It’s a shame privacy is not offered to residents whose £4 million flats are next to the tate Modern on the South Bank. they have lost a privacy case against the tate. they complained that gawkers on its terrace — just over 100ft away — intrude on their privacy until 10pm. We all deserve our own space, even rich people. It makes me want to hire a cherry-picker and stare through the Morris windows all night. See how she likes it.
