now, at the grand old age of 75, the grizzled Rolling stone (right) is cleaning up his lifestyle. The legendary boozer is giving up alcohol. ‘i’ve knocked the hard stuff on the head,’ he told Mojo magazine.

That’s amazing! no, hang on a minute. He hasn’t given it up entirely. ‘i have a little wine with meals.’ anything else? ‘a Guinness or a beer or two. But otherwise, no.’

so it is just spirits he’s given up? Well, ‘if i meet you in a bar and you say: “Do you want a drink?”, i wouldn’t say turn it down.’
