SWANSEA and Newport reaching the last 16 means that for the first time since 1927, two Welsh clubs could make the quarterfinals. That year the Swans lost to Reading but Cardiff beat Chelsea and went on to win the competition. It remains the only time a non-English club has lifted the FA Cup.
