Can hair products really heal split ends?

HundredS of potions promise to add shine, thicken and smooth unruly locks, but only the hairdresser’s scissors can get rid of split ends.

Products alone cannot fix them, according to James Pryce, best known for styling the duchess of Cambridge’s hair on her wedding day and now master stylist at the Larry King salon in London. ‘You cannot fix or reseal a split end,’ he says. ‘So beware of any product that claims it can!
