De Gea set for salary bump
MANCHESTER UNITED are confident that David de Gea will sign a new long-term contract, and are ready to hand the Spain goalkeeper a bigger basic pay package than those of Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba. Sanchez is the club’s highest earner on £350,000 a week, but he and Pogba both earn substantially more in bonuses. According to reports, United are ready to give De Gea a five-year contract worth a guaranteed £90million, the biggest basic pay deal in the history of English football.
