WONDER KID BORN IN ENGLAND... BUT ALREADY CAPPED BY WALES!
Daniel James, 21, could yet turn out to be another youngster who England missed out on. He was born in Yorkshire but qualified to play for Wales through his father. Ryan Giggs handed him his first cap in a friendly against Albania in November.
James was at Elland Road from 6pm onwards on deadline day. Huw Jenkins, who was then the Swansea chairman, refused to sign off the £10million move which had been agreed between the Swans’ American owners and Leeds
owner Andrea Radrizzani.
Swansea paid £72,000 to sign James in 2014 from Hull, where he was highly regarded in the academy. He is represented by the agency Stellar Group, who also count Wales star Gareth Bale as a client.
