The 49-year-old, who, at 3ft 6in, has established himself as Britain’s most acclaimed actor of diminutive stature, has been granted permission to screen his £2 million Cambridgeshire house with a 6 ft fence, neatly threaded between a holm oak and a yew hedge. A sufficient obstacle, hopes Davis, to deter the intruders who stole his caravan in 2015.
