spoon-bender Uri Geller failed to predict the struggle he would have selling his nine-bedroom mansion in Berkshire. Sonning Court, which he put up for sale for £15 million three years ago after moving to Tel Aviv, has some unusual features, including a loo which washes you and puffs out a scent, and a panic room. Uri, 72, admits he now lives more modestly. ‘I live in a tiny apartment and all my furniture is from Ikea,’ he tells me. ‘Living in rustic surrounds means more to me now.’
