Ankle zapper to help men last the distance

-

PREMATURE ejaculation could be treated using electrical nerve stimulation in the ankle.

The method, known as tibial nerve stimulation, which has also been successfully prescribed in the past for treating incontinence, is being investigated in a trial at the Colombia Boston medical Group Clinic in the U.S. around 25 men will receive three 30-minute sessions a week for three months.

exactly how it may work is unclear, but one theory is the stimulation has a beneficial effect on the muscles involved in the ejaculation reflex. When used for incontinence, the stimulation affects the sacral nerve, which has contact with bladder muscles.
