Ban this Jihadi bride ...

-

SO TEENAGER Shamima Begum, who admits to having no regrets about joining the barbaric IS, wants to return to Britain.

I am a firm believer in protecting human rights. No one should be exposed to intimidation, oppression or torture and have their free speech denied. But what about the human rights of UK citizens who have no idea of the extent of this woman’s radicalisation and who may be exposed to risk?

At 15, Ms Begum was old enough to understand the decision she made to leave this country to engage with despicable terrorists. She says she was not fazed by heads in a bin.

As far as I am concerned, she has given up her rights as a British citizen. What message would allowing her to return send out? ‘Go out there and give it a try; if it doesn’t work out, then let us know when you want to come back.’ It would be preposterous to allow her back into the UK.
