A nation of grafters
WHILE politicians tear lumps out of each other, in the real world British workers are busy keeping the country going. The jobs boom continues apace, unemployment is at a 44-year low and real wages saw their biggest increase since the 2008 crash. These are numbers the stagnating eurozone can only dream of.
But there is a massive black cloud on the horizon. With investment already frozen because of Brexit jitters and many large multinationals actively considering their future in the UK, employers and workers alike are crying out for a deal.
if MPs truly believe in serving the interests of their constituents, they have a moral duty to provide it.
