Radio host hurt in ‘racist attack’

A RADIO presenter told yesterday how he was ‘racially attacked’ as he stood outside a theatre in central London.

LBC host Maajid Nawaz, pictured, tweeted a photograph of a cut to his forehead and bruising to his eye and branded his assailant a ‘racist coward’.

Mr Nawaz, 41, who advised David Cameron’s government on fighting extremism, said he had bent down to pick up his phone when he was hit by an attacker who shouted racist abuse on Monday night.
