GROVES: MY OLD FOE DEGALE IS PAST IT

GEORGE GROVES is backing Chris Eubank Jnr to win his grudge fight with James DeGale on Saturday — because his old rival is suffering from burn-out. The retired Groves, who will be on the safe side of the ropes at London’s O2 Arena as a TV analyst, says: ‘If DeGale was in his prime he would beat Eubank easily. But he hasn’t looked great in the last two years. If he loses he knows he will have to retire. Since his injuries he never seems to be fully fit.
