Rescue dogs

HOW wonderful to read of the return of dogs to their owners after many years (Mail).

The fact these pets were stolen to order to breed from in puppy farms underlines my belief that it is far better to own a mixed breed.

My daughter’s dog came from a rescue centre. Because he is not a pedigree, no one would steal him. He is loved as much as any dog could be and showers us with affection.
