Hard to save the world
I DID an online personal carbon footprint questionnaire and got two unworldly pieces of advice.
First, use the bus. I am one of the millions who don’t live in a city, so buses are non-existent or run to a fictional timetable to suit drivers.
Second, buy local fresh seasonal produce. There are no greengrocers nearby, so I have to shop at a supermarket selling produce that’s in season somewhere in the world.
I can only live my life as it is and not as I or the ecology experts would wish it to be. R. HAVENHAND, Nantwich, Cheshire.
