Boys will be boys

I AGREE with the defence of real men (Letters), but it was not sympathetic to problems affecting men and boys today.

Schools have far too many female teachers. It’s not just about role models, but getting an education in the first place.

Boys must be given books to read that will interest them and be taught in ways that work for them.

There have been claims that female teachers discriminate against boys and that in tests that do not indicate the sex of the pupil, boys score a far higher mark than when the sex of the pupils are known.

In day-to-day society, everything male is seen as bad while all things female are good.

It is all very well to say men should respect women, but this is a two-way street.
