was a long interview with Ravel Morrison, the great lost talent of English football, published at the weekend. He talked through the issues that saw him lose his way at Manchester United — where he was regarded as the greatest natural talent since Paul Scholes — and then West Ham, Birmingham, Queens Park Rangers, Cardiff, Lazio and Atlas in Mexico. He could have been a brilliant asset to any of those clubs but now, at the age of 26, is on a fourand-a-half-month contract with Ostersunds in Sweden, a small top-division team watched by roughly 6,000 fans. Throughout a lengthy conversation there appeared not a scintilla of acceptance from Morrison that he may have messed up; which is no doubt why he finds himself where he is.
