UK driving licence found in Syria

-

A BRITISH driving licence was found in Syria after it was thrown from a moving vehicle.

The battered document bore the name Malik Imran – born in October 1982 in England – with a Wolverhampton home address.

Sources said it was ‘thrown out of a transporting vehicle’ on Thursday as the UK-backed Syrian Democratic Forces cleared civilians from Baghouz, the last territory held by IS jihadis.

Neighbours recognised his picture and said the man used to live at the address, but that they had not seen him for a while. One said he always wore a white suit, which was described as ‘a bit flash’. Last night, the mystery man’s whereabouts was unknown.
