Glenn’s REALLY Close to Oscar

GLENN CLOSE (right) has been nominated seven times for an Oscar but never won. This has led to talk in Hollywood that she will finally be garlanded tomorrow for her role as an exploited spouse in The Wife. The feminist movie left me searching not for a handkerchief but the exit. But predictably in today’s #MeToo world, Close is a shoo-in for an Academy Award.
