Good riddance to Soubry & co

-

I WOULD be surprised if Theresa May didn’t have a quiet smile to herself when she heard about one of the three departing Tory Mps. If anyone has qualified as windbag of the year, it is surely Anna Soubry. Along with the other ‘visionaries’, she will drift into a political no man’s land and, hopefully, lose her seat at the next election to fade into nothingness. Good riddance!

C. DAVIS, Woodchurch, Kent.

HEIDI ALLEN — one of ‘The Three Amigos’ with Anna Soubry and Sarah Wollaston — is being modest when she speaks of her hopes of destroying the Tory party. Her group is, in fact, aiming for the destruction of the British parliamentary system, with its idea of the sovereignty of the people, and its replacement by the will of Brussels.

PETER DAVEY, Bournemouth, Dorset.

ALONGSIDE her two fellow travellers, Anna Soubry deserted her people without warning, attacked them verbally and joined a hostile group. Since then she has shown no remorse and may serve as an inspiration for others. Left to her own devices, she will be a thorn in the Government’s side. I suggest the Home Secretary must do all in his power to strip UK citizenship from Ms Soubry. BARRY TIGHE, Woodford Green, Gtr London.
