Was Meghan’s New York baby shower too lavish?

THE Duchess of Sussex attending a baby shower in New York was an indication that she is struggling to understand her royal role (Mail). People think Meghan is emulating Diana, Princess of Wales, but I wonder if her role model is Princess Grace of Monaco. Like Meghan, Grace Kelly kept her Hollywood sense of style and clung to her showbusiness friends. The Duchess is either headstrong or ill-advised. There must be someone who can tactfully remind her that she has taken up a position in the Royal Family and

not merely moved from the celebrity B-list to the A-list.

WHY constantly comment on Meghan’s ‘extravagance’? She is a rich woman thanks to her TV career and Prince Harry is wealthy enough to buy her what she wants.

I AM disgusted by the opulence and greed displayed by Meghan when there are so many starving and homeless people. She needs to get a grip on the real world and learn to be humble.

WOULD it have been too much of an imposition for Meghan to have asked her friends to come here for the shower? As she went to New York, maybe she could have asked her rich circle to pay for security.
