SAVERS looking for top easyaccess rates in the High Street can earn 1.4 pc with Kent Reliance, 1.16 pc with Virgin Money and 1.15 pc with Coventry BS.

There are better branch rates up for grabs, but many accounts limit the withdrawals you can make.

These may prove a good place for some of your spare cash, especially if your savings are languishing in an account earning less than 0.5 pc.

Co-op Bank’s Britannia Select Access Saver 10 pays 1.4 pc, as long as you don’t make more than four withdrawals a year. You can make more, but you will earn only 0.3 pc.

Yorkshire BS Single Access Saver pays 1.41 pc, but limits you to taking out money on one day in the year.
