...AND THE VERDICT ON THE REST

-

Our model Claire Cisotti, 52, gives her verdict on the rest of Holly’s collection . . .

RUFFLE BLOUSE (on Holly above, £32.50): Possibly the nicest thing I’ve ever worn. The fabric — where M&S often gets it wrong — is soft but not clingy. A classic design that won’t date.

WESTERN SHIRT (£32.50): Too short and it gapes across my chest. It’s a shame because I love the press studs and the puffed sleeve. SHIRT DRESS (£49.50): I really want to love this — Holly looks fabulous in it — but it’s too tight across my chest and hangs off me everywhere else. Unflattering and uncomfortable. T-SHIRT (£12.50): Not one for me, but a winner for teenagers who would wear the XL for the baggy look. MINI SKIRT (£25): At the age of 52 I feel I would be chancing my arm with something this short. It would be great on my teenage daughter though! IVY SKINNY JEANS (£19.50): I’m excited because these are just the right shade of dark blue. But they are bizarrely tight on my calves and baggy around my waist. So disappointing. MINI SHIRT DRESS (£49.50): This thick, elasticated denim should streamline me, but it’s square, there is no waist to it and it’s too tight on my chest. Awful.

COWBOY BOOTS (cream leather, £55; brown suede, £49.50): Fantastic — great fit with a generous width for us women with bunions. An essential that will go with everything this season. LEATHER STAR TRAINERS (£45): these could Another easily great be buy — mistaken for designer.
