will today announce a string of measures to protect the rights of 300,000 British expats in the event of a No Deal Brexit.

A royal decree will guarantee healthcare provision until at least December 31, 2020. British residents will be allowed to continue accessing the country’s social security system, including benefits and pensions, and workers will be guaranteed freedom of movement across the Gibraltar-Spain border. Such rights would be automatically protected if the PM’s Brexit deal is passed by MPs.
