MANCHESTER BOMB FAMILIES’ ANGER AT INQUIRY ‘SECRECY’

THE families of the Man- chester Arena terror attack victims fear that jihadi bride Shamima Begum will be back in Britain before a suspect wanted over the atrocity.

Angry relatives of the 22 who died at the Ariana Grande concert in May 2017 say they are being kept in the dark about the investigation.

Yesterday, lawyers at a pre-inquest hearing made a plea for information about the whereabouts of Hashem Abedi, 21, the younger brother of suicide bomber Salman Abedi, 22. Prosecutors are trying to extradite Hashem from Libya.

Stephen Howe, 63, who lost his wife Alison, 45, in the atrocity, stormed out of the hearing, saying he had ‘no faith’ in the system. He said the ‘biggest upset’ for families would be if Begum, 19, who has appeared to justify the attack, was allowed back into the UK.
