Vodafone gives paid leave to abused staff
VODAFONE is to give staff two weeks’ extra paid leave if they suffer emotional abuse or domestic violence.
Three out of ten workers in the UK are subject to abuse at home, almost half by their spouses or partners and just over half by another family member, Vodafone said. Nine out of 20 victims are men.
Vodafone said victims can use the time for making new living arrangements, seek emotional and legal support, or help their children adjust to different circumstances.
