Help! My foundation’s no longer on sale

AS reAderS of this column have told me, when a much- loved shade of foundation is discontinued, it is, to put it mildly, frustrating. One solution is to try to recreate your old favourite.

If you struggle to find a match, try the no 7 Match Made Custom Foundation drops (£16, boots) which allows you to tweak your foundation to create the level of coverage you want from a choice of 25 shades. Add one drop to your moisturiser or primer for a lighter base; two for a medium base and three for full coverage.
