LABOUR MP Emily Thornberry reveals her grandmother, who hailed from West Belfast, would become enraged whenever former Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams came on television.
‘My grandmother used to shout at the telly not because she was a Protestant, but because he stole her umbrella,’ the shadow Foreign Secretary recounted at yesterday’s Turn the Tables Cancer Research charity lunch.
