TIELEMANS WOULD COST LEICESTER £40m
LEICESTER would have to break their transfer record to sign Youri Tielemans this summer after being quoted £40million by Monaco. That was the price the Ligue 1 side insisted on in January when Leicester discussed the possibility of securing Tielemans (above) on loan with a view to a permanent deal, Sportsmail can reveal. Leicester instead brought the 21-year-old midfielder in on a normal loan deal, knowing that this could allow other clubs to enter the bidding in the summer. Andre Silva went the other way, joining Monaco on loan. Tielemans has been impressive in his four appearances for Leicester but new boss Brendan Rodgers will have the final say on whether to make a move in the summer.
