Cara and co’s tears for Chanel guru Lagerfeld

-

EMOTIONS ran high at Paris Fashion Week yesterday as models paraded down a runway to showcase the final collection of celebrated designer Karl Lagerfeld, who died last month aged 85.

Chanel muse Cara Delevingne, 26, (far left), who has credited Lagerfeld for ‘changing her life’, wore a white checked jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and matching top hat, and looked on as fellow models wept.

The Alpine-themed show opened with a minute’s silence and was attended by Penelope Cruz, one of the faces of the French couture house, and 17-year-old supermodel Kaia Gerber, who collaborated with Lagerfeld on designs for his eponymous brand.
