Hello Fresh success

SALES at recipe subscription firm Hello Fresh jumped as busy consumers ordered meal kit boxes.

The German company, which sells its recipe kits in the UK, Europe, the US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia, posted a 41.4pc jump in revenues to £1.1bn last year. The firm prepares the ingredients for a meal and then delivers them to customers who cook them at home.

A total of 27.1m orders were placed and losses narrowed to £ 54.5m, compared with £70.1m a year earlier.

Hello Fresh listed in Frankfurt in 2017 and is now worth £1.3bn.
