Out of the mouths of babes

OUR granddaughter Isabelle, aged five, adores playing with our young yellow labrador, Rosie, when she comes to visit. they both have great fun cuddling and playing with toys together. Before leaving one day, Isabelle looked up at me and declared: ‘I love you, Grandma.’ A short pause, then: ‘Do you want to know why I love you? It’s because you have Rosie!’ ouch!
