Frustration at energy firms up yet again

CUSTOMER satisfaction with energy suppliers has fallen for the second year running after price hikes and the collapse of nine small firms.

In its annual report uSwitch. com ranked the ‘big six’ and ten smaller providers using a survey of 17,000 customers.

Ovo was top with a score of 88 per cent, and Outfox the Market bottom with 64 per cent. Npower was lowestranked of the big firms, while overall satisfaction fell from 74 per cent to 72 per cent.

‘Energy customers have a less rosy view of the market compared to 12 months ago,’ said a uSwitch spokesman.
