BLACKPOOL IS ROCKING AGAIN

THE greatest sight of the week was surely the 15,871 fans at Bloomfield Road, against the 3,912 that had been turning out for Blackpool’s home matches. Some fans may dream of a sugar daddy buying their club and taking it to the summit, at Blackpool all they wanted was an owner who wasn’t called Oyston (Owen is pictured left). Now they’ve got that. Terry McPhillips, the manager, has done a terrific job avoiding calamity until the happy day arrived, too. Good luck to them all.
