Family tune out Showman Hugh
WITH its soaring melodies, The Greatest Showman is one of the best-loved musical films of the past decade.
But lead actor Hugh Jackman admits some people are immune to his vocal charms – his own family.
The 50-year- old, who plays ringmaster PT Barnum, said: ‘My kids and even my wife are getting so sick of it. I’m still excited about it.’
The soundtrack was the biggest-selling album in the UK last year, and spent 28 weeks at the top of the charts – even longer than Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles.
Jackman, pictured – who has adopted children Oscar, 18, and Ava, 13, with actress Deborra-Lee Furness, 63 – told the NME: ‘It meant a lot to a lot of people.’
