What a barking idiot

A HERD of beautiful Highland cattle has been forced off grazing land in the Peak District after a dog walker complained to the Health and Safety Executive that one tried to attack their pet.

Now farmer Alex Birch has had to sell or slaughter his animals — all for the sake of one idiot dog owner and the even more idiotic HSE.

I have three dogs, and in my experience the only reason livestock would ‘threaten’ a dog is if it was out of control off the lead, or barking at them. In either case, the fault lies with the dog owner — not the farmer or his herd.
