Strictly Craig judges his Twitter trolls ‘illiterate couch potatoes’

KNOWN for his acerbic comments to contestants on Strictly Come Dancing, Craig Revel Horwood is just as sharp to television viewers.

The judge has described those who attack him online as ‘illiterate’ and ‘couch potatoes’.

Speaking Down Under, Revel Horwood says: ‘I absolutely love criticism, but none I have seen on Twitter or any of the complaints about me have been solid on dance. Most of them are illiterate and have never published anything in their lives. What are their opinions based on? Was it 20 years of dance? No. They have just sat at home as a couch potato going, “Oh, I don’t like him.” ’

He adds: ‘It is a very PC world that we have and everyone is walking around with cotton wool on their hands, hugging and embracing and loving one another, but you don’t get to be a good dancer by that.’
