Claim carer’s credit

MORE than 90 pc of carers are missing out on pension credits worth up to £244 a year.

Around 200,000 carers are eligible for carer’s credit, which count towards a person’s state pension entitlement. But just 17,388 are receiving them, according to figures obtained by wealth adviser Quilter.

You must be between 16 and state pension age to claim, and caring for one or more people for at least 20 hours a week.
