UNITED MOVE TO KEEP PEREIRA WITH NEW DEAL

-

MANCHESTER UNITED have triggered a 12-month contract extension for Andreas Pereira to avoid losing the Brazilian on a free transfer this summer. But, like some of his team-mates, he does not want to commit his future to the club beyond that until Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is confirmed as manager. Pereira (right), 23, was on loan at Valencia last season, but has grown in confidence under Solskjaer. He has featured eight times under the interim boss, scoring his first Premier League goal in the 3-2 win over Southampton. He also played a key role in the Champions League win at PSG.
