RACHAEL’S JOY

RACHAEL Blackmore, who is in contention for the j jump p jockeys title in Ireland, landed her first Festival winner on A Plus Tard in the Close Brothers Novices’ s’ Handicap Chase. Blackmore is the 15th female to win at the Festival but only the third professional female jockey. Her nine rides on the first three days is a record for a female rider.
