Save the cattle

I, TOO, am mortified to learn that a caring farmer in Derbyshire has had to get rid of his beautiful highland cattle because of one anxious dog walker.

I walk among cows with my dog — he is always off the lead, as he is the one they are interested in, and he can run away and take care of himself. In this case, the dog walker was totally at fault by clinging to their dog.

J. WalMslEy, Bury, lancs. When are these stupid people who make silly complaints going to be ignored? They can walk their dog anywhere without going near cattle that have roamed there for years.

how many people witnessed what the dog walker said happened? Instead the farmer has to face his herd being slaughtered.

The countryside is just that, and if you do not like it, take your dogs for their walks somewhere else.
