New twist in Kim brother murder trial

-

A WOMAN accused of murdering a half-brother of North Korea’s Kim Jong-un broke down yesterday after hearing the charge against her will not be dropped – despite her co-defendant going free.

Three days after an Indonesian woman accused of rubbing a nerve agent on the face of Kim Jong-nam was let off, a Malaysian court rejected a plea to also drop the case against Doan Thi Huong, from Vietnam. Her lawyer said the decision was ‘perverse’.

The women had claimed the 2017 attack on Kim at Kuala Lumpur airport was meant to be a harmless prank for TV.
