THE FA will pay homage to England legend Gordon Banks, who died last month aged 81, during next Friday’s Euro 2020 qualifier against the Czech Republic.

MANUEL PELLEGRINI is set to let Marko Arnautovic return to West Ham’s starting line-up as he believes the Austrian’s mind is no longer on a move to China. Arnautovic hasn’t played since January but may face Huddersfield tomorrow.

÷ BRENDAN RODGERS has backed Jamie Vardy to hit 100 Premier League goals. Vardy, 32, has 74 in the top flight and Leicester boss Rodgers said: ‘It’s 26 goals he’s got to go and he’s as fit as a butcher’s dog.’

LEEDS owner Andrea Radrizzani paid tribute to the club’s former chairman Bill Fotherby, who has died aged 88 while on holiday with his family in Tenerife. Radrizzani said he was ‘truly honoured’ to have met the ‘inspirational’ Fotherby last year.

÷ BIRMINGHAM and Aston Villa have been charged with failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion in Sunday’s Championship match. In a game that saw a fan assault Villa’s Jack Grealish, players were also involved in an early scuffle that resulted in an FA charge. The clubs must respond by Monday.
