Pennies for petrol?

JeSS Phillips, labour MP for Birmingham yardley, says labour’s hard-left elite ‘never had to scrabble down the side of the sofa to find money to put petrol in the car’.

She clearly has just as little idea of the real world — you would have to find tenners down there. Some people might look for coins for food or to put in the meter, perhaps, but surely not for petrol. Very poor people don’t have cars, by the way. has she ever had a job outside politics?
