Made from flexible silicone and studded all over the inside with high-grade LED lights, the Boost Mask from the Light Salon at London department store Harvey Nichols is not only comfortable to wear, but has a neat rechargeable power-pack that can be tucked into your neckline or under a bra strap.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO USE: It is completely portable, so can be used while it delivers its glowing red and near-infrared light. You can move around, cook the supper or read a bedtime story — really, that’s what one of the company’s founders does.

Also, because it lies flat when not curved over your face, it is easy to use on other areas like your decolletage.

VERDICT: Terrific. My new favourite, just because it is so easy to wear, and I don’t have to lie down while I’m wearing it.
