Rod brings two caps (and wears them both well)
FOR a man as fashion conscious as Rod Stewart, it was obviously a difficult decision.
But it seems he found the perfect solution to the problem of whether to match his hat to his shoes or umbrella – by taking two.
The 74-year-old arrived at Cheltenham Festival yesterday wearing a brown tweed flat cap, very similar to the fabric of his brolly.
However the singer was later seen alongside his wife Penny Lancaster wearing a hat with a lighter pattern – like his loafers.
And it was probably just as well he had a spare, as Sir Rod appeared to nearly lose one of them in a strong gust of wind.
The couple cheered on the horses from a VIP box, where glamorous Miss Lancaster, 47, sipped on champagne.
